Title - Healing through the Arts Multi-Disciplined Dance and Theater
Workshops
Description - This unique dance experience will uplift the spirit, enhance the soul, and stimulate the body of individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or disability. The workshops include low impact cardiovascular training, full body stretching, floor work, and choreography. The individuals will receive technical and theoretical training in the basic dance techniques which include ballet, modern, jazz, and African dance movements. The Theater portion of this workshop will assist in the exploration of the imagination while developing creative expression, critical thinking and productive reasoning. The youth and families will learn the art of Play Production and Technical Theater through monologues, oral interpretation, improvisation, lighting, sound, costuming and stage direction.
Days and Time: Every Saturday 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Fee: $10.00 per week or $35.00 per month

Title- Jamilah Project - A Young Ladies Guide to WOMANHOOD
Description - This unique workshop is designed to educate adolescent females of color between the ages of 7 to 18 of their individual self worth, value systems, critical and analytical thinking, health and wellness, and abstinence.

Description - This informative workshop is designed to strengthen the youth and families artistic and creative expression through Multi-Media Production and Technology. Our goal is to educate underprivileged adolescences ages 12 to 21, who are interested in gaining media knowledge and skills, are interested in pursuing a career in Media Arts, and to teach the truth about media and its role in distorting fact from fiction.
